The developer, which previously developed the Turianova neighbourhood (Fuente de San Luis) in the Valencia, has secured this significant investment after months of negotiations and is beginning the design process for what aims to be one of the most emblematic projects not only for Burjassot but also within the broader metropolitan area of Valencia. The project will involve an investment of over €160 million and is expected to generate more than 2,000 jobs – both direct and indirect – during its development.
Burjassot: A dynamic hub with excellent connections to Valencia City
Burjassot is located approximately 6 km northwest of Valencia city centre, making it highly attractive for those who seek proximity to the capital while enjoying the tranquillity of a smaller town. The area is very well connected by public transport, with metro lines offering a direct link to the heart of Valencia in just 15 minutes. This close connection allows residents to easily commute to Valencia for work or leisure while benefiting from more affordable housing and a quieter environment.
The town itself is known for its vibrant community and academic presence. It is home to several major institutions, including the University of Valencia’s Science Park, numerous university residences, and the IMED Hospital, one of the leading private healthcare providers in the region. Burjassot also offers various leisure and cultural amenities, such as local parks, shopping areas, and cultural centres, making it an appealing location for families, professionals, and students alike.
The plot acquired by the developer is situated in a prime position, right opposite the Valencia Conference Centre and just a short 10-minute walk from the bustling Avenida de las Cortes. This privileged location ensures that residents of the future towers will enjoy easy access to both the urban conveniences of Burjassot and the nearby Valencia metropolitan area.
A major step in Valencia’s residential market
With this project, the developer will surpass €500 million invested in residential development projects in the metropolitan area of Valencia. According to its CEO: “Backing Burjassot is backing Valencia. Our commitment to this region is reflected in the promotion of more than 1,600 homes, both free-market and protected, since 2018. The metropolitan area of Valencia is undoubtedly a priority investment target within our national growth strategy, and this recent acquisition in Burjassot will allow us to continue contributing to the development of the Valencian residential market, delivering over 400 homes in the coming years as part of an iconic project for both Burjassot and Valencia as a whole.”
This development is expected to further elevate Burjassot’s status as a key residential and commercial hub, combining the best of metropolitan living with proximity to the vibrant and growing city of Valencia.
